English skill comparisons
When i have created an English group last year later, my members mostly from Malaysia. They were students in Pre-Universiti, means education same level with Diploma 1. They have to attend English exams named MUET, as requirement to take final exam in Pre-Universiti. So i gave many tips for them how to prepared that exams.
Since i had ever attended the exams in IDP institution for IELTS exams before, and the MUET exam materials same with IELTS, then they accept my guide
As you known, all Malaysia students that they will enroll to high education in college, the University has minimum standard score band of MUET exams for process selecting new students. By this reason, so Malaysia government perform the program to provide students in Pre-Universiti for a year and half study lecture. Then after the students pass final exams, each students got a certification named SMTP certificate.
I have an English skill comparisons that belong to the Pre-Universiti students and Indonesian students in senior high schools. In roughly i thought scoring for Pre-Universiti students is 6, while scoring SMU students of Indonesia is 4, in average. It means students of Malaysia overall able speaking for daily conversation, while students of Indonesia just able to saying the words or attempting to try speaking.
